       麥克林中學（MacleansCollege）學校名字取自于Maclean兄弟；Scotmen于1885年定居新西蘭，他是Howick–Pakuranga-Penrose地區(qū)早期的居民。Robert和Thomas在此區(qū)買了土地做為農場，Benjamin則在StJohns高中任教。Maclean家族的蘇格蘭格子圖形現(xiàn)在已成為學校制服的一部份，學?；照律系某潜D案也是Maclean家族城堡的象征。
