英國留學：英國高等教育學位體系簡介

　　作為一個地方分權(quán)制國家，英國高等教育實際上存在4個系統(tǒng)，分別對應英國的四個行政轄區(qū)：英格蘭、蘇格蘭、威爾士和北愛爾蘭。而根據(jù)幾個系統(tǒng)的異同，英國高等教育被分為兩個獨立的框架：英格蘭、威爾士和北愛爾蘭高等教育資格框架以及蘇格蘭高等教育資格框架。

　　英國高等教育質(zhì)量保證署（the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education, QAA）發(fā)布的《英格蘭、威爾士和北愛爾蘭高等教育資格框架（2001年版）》（The framework for higher education qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, FHEQ）對英國學位體系進行了規(guī)定，并于2003—2004學年全面實施，陳嵩[1]于2007年對這一體系進行了介紹，具體如下：

　　1. 證書（Certificate），即C級高等教育證書(Certificates of Higher Education )；

　　2. 中級（Intermediate），即I級基本學位，由普通(學士)學位、高等教育文憑和其它高等文憑(Foundation Degrees，Ordinary(Bachelors)Degrees，Diplomas of Higher Education，and Other Higher Education Diplomas)構(gòu)成；

　　3. 榮譽（Honours），即H級榮譽學士學位，包括本科證書和本科文憑(Bachelors Degrees With Honors，Graduate Certificates and Graduate Diplomas )；

　　4. 碩士（Masters），即M級碩士學位，包括研究生證書和研究生文憑(Masters Degrees， Postgraduate Certificates and Postgraduate Diplomas )；

　　5. 博士（Doctoral），即D級博士學位(Doctorates)。

　　其中前3級為本科教育層次，后兩級為研究生教育層次。

　　而在QAA發(fā)布的有關FHEQ 2008年的最新文件中，QAA對英國高等教育學位體系進行了進一步比較細致的闡述。
